Bears' Caleb Johnson: Placed on COVID-19 list

The Bears placed Johnson on the reserve/COVID-19 list Sunday.

Johnson previously missed the Bears' Week 6 loss to the Packers with a knee injury, but he won't play Sunday against the Buccaneers for a difference reason. If he can overcome his knee injury and clear all health and safety protocols within the next week, the reserve linebacker could be ready to play in the Bears' next contest Oct. 31 versus the 49ers.
