Even with the Bengals dialing up almost twice as many pass plays (47) as run plays (23), Boyd still ranked a distant third in targets among Cincinnati's starting wideout group. Youngsters Ja'Marr Chase (13 targets) and Tee Higgins (eight) have clearly surpassed Boyd in the pass-catching hierarchy, and even in a splashy offense, there doesn't seem to be enough volume to go around to make Boyd a reliable weekly fantasy option. Boyd hasn't drawn more than eight targets in any of Cincinnati's last five games, cobbling together a modest 15-150-1 receiving line during that stretch.
