Breeland Speaks: Cut by Kansas City

The Chiefs waived Speaks on Saturday.

The 24-year-old didn't see action in any regular-season games in 2019 after playing all 16 in 2018. Speaks dealt with knee issues and a suspension for the league's substance-abuse policy in 2019. He'll look to find a depth role elsewhere after he produced 24 tackles and 1.5 sacks in a promising rookie campaign in 2018.
