Broncos' Josey Jewell: Will undergo surgery Thursday

Jewell will have surgery on his torn pectoral Thursday, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.

Jewell was placed on IR Tuesday and is set to miss the remainder of the season. Justin Strnad is likely to serve as a starting inside linebacker for the foreseeable future, but the Broncos also signed Micah Kiser off the Rams' practice squad this week.
