Cody Thompson: Back in Tampa Bay

Thompson signed with the Buccaneers' practice squad Thursday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.

The Toledo product failed to make the Buccaneers' initial 53-man roster Tuesday, but he's now secured a spot on the team's practice squad. Thompson appeared in seven regular-season games with the Seahawks in 2023, catching one pass for 10 yards while also playing 93 snaps on special-teams.
