Colts' E.J. Speed: Hyperextends knee in practice

Speed injured his knee in practice Thursday, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Speed played in 15 games for the Colts last season in a special teams role, racking up nine tackles. It's expected that the third-year linebacker will only miss minimal time, so Speed should his normal activities shortly.
