Hasselbeck acknowledged Monday that his stint with the Colts is slated to come to an end.
This confirms previous reports that Hasselbeck, who has been the Colts' backup QB for the last three years, will not be re-signed by the team and will thus become an unrestricted free agent later this month. Despite enduring a series of injuries while filling in for Andrew Luck in 2015, the 40-year-old Hasselbeck has expressed a desire to continue his NFL career this coming season.
