Cowboys' Alfred Morris: Leads team in rushing Saturday against Raiders

Morris carried nine times for 56 yards in Saturday's 24-20 preseason win over the Raiders.

Ezekiel Elliott made his preseason debut and Darren McFadden was in the mix as well, but it was Morris who stood out among the Cowboys' trio of backs. He gashed the opposing defense on several occasions and ripped off a 17-yard gain at one point. Elliott is set to miss the beginning of the regular season up to six games depending on his appeal, and while Morris seems to be in line for a timeshare with McFadden, his expanded role in this dress-rehearsal game bodes well for his involvement once the regular season begins.
