Cowboys' Deante Burton: Hits injured reserve

The Cowboys placed Burton (shoulder) on IR on Saturday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Burton will miss the final three games of the regular season due to his shoulder injury, but he only played a reserve role in Dallas' secondary. On a more positive note for the Cowboys, Trevon Diggs (foot) is expected to come off IR.
