Derrick Deese: Joins Lions' practice squad

Detroit signed Deese to the practice squad Wednesday, Tim Twentyman of the team's official site reports.

The undrafted rookie out of San Jose State dealt with an injury early on in the preseason, but he still showcased enough to earn a practice squad slot. He will work to continue developing in the Lions' system.
