Eagles' Trevor Williams: Lands on IR

The Eagles placed Williams (ribs) on injured reserve Saturday.

Williams didn't practice all week and was already ruled out for Sunday's game against the 49ers, but now he'll be on the shelf until the Week 7 matchup against the Giants, at the earliest. He appeared set for a larger role because Avonte Maddox (ankle) won't play Sunday, but now Cre'von LeBlanc will be required to step up behind starters Darius Slay and Nickell Robey-Coleman.
