The Bills released Ankou (hamstring) with an injury settlement Tuesday.
Ankou suffered a hamstring injury during Friday's preseason game against the Panthers but will be able to sign elsewhere once he's back to full health. He appeared in six games between the Titans and Bills last year and tallied 12 tackles (five solo) and a sack.
