Jacob Thieneman: Waived by Giants

Thieneman (knee) was waived from injured reserve by the Giants on Thursday, per the NFL transactions page.

Thieneman was originally placed on injured reserve May 15. The Purdue product sustained the knee injury in rookie minicamp and it was deemed serious enough at the time to require surgery.
