Jake Lampman: Links up with practice squad

Lampman signed to the Saints' practice squad Wednesday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

This is not the 27-year-old's first rodeo with New Orleans, as Lampman suited up for the team six times in 2016 while collecting six tackles on a sample of 89 special-teams snaps. One would imagine the Saints intend on deploying Lampman at his college position of wide receiver, barring a rash of injuries at the position.
