The Jets signed Smart to their active roster Saturday.
The veteran defensive tackle has bounced back and forth between the Jets' active roster and practice squad, and he's now in line to make his third appearance of the year Sunday. Over the course of his five-year NFL career, Smart has tallied 30 total tackles and one pass deflection.
