Josh Adams: Released by New Orleans

The Saints released Adams on Wednesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Adams was cut from New Orleans' practice squad ahead of Week 18 but signed a reserve/future contract at the start of the offseason. The Notre Dame product has appeared in 26 games during his four-year NFL career, totaling 157 carries for 668 yards and five touchdowns.
