Josh Pederson: Waived with injury settlement

The Jaguars waived Pederson (ankle) from injured reserve Friday with an injury settlement, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Pederson's injury settlement frees him up to sign with another team, when healthy, rather than having to spend the entire 2024 season on IR with Jacksonville. He spent most of last season on the Jaguars' practice squad and failed to record any stats across three appearances with the team.
