Kaare Vedvik: Shown door in Carolina

The Panthers waived Vedvik on Saturday, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.

The punter-kicker hybrid couldn't make it past cut day in Carolina, as the Panthers are rolling with Joey Slye at kicker and Joseph Charlton at punter. With plenty of uncertainty in 2020, Vedvik should be a practice squad candidate who can be called upon in a pinch.
