Murphy received a tryout with the Saints on Monday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.
Murphy was waived with an injury settlement by the Saints during training camp. Considering the Stanford product is receiving a workout, it appears he is healthy enough to compete again. With Terron Armstead and Ryan Ramczyk both dealing with knee injuries, the Saints could be looking to add some depth a offensive tackle.
