Pierce announced his retirement Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Pierce played eight seasons as a pro after Baltimore signed him as an undrafted free agent out of Samford in 2016. He earned a reputation as a stout run stopper and now finishes his career having played in 99 games, totaling 238 tackles (136 solo) and 9.5 sacks.
