Myles Dorn: Waived by Carolina

The Panthers waived Dorn on Friday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.

Dorn was signed by Carolina in January after spending part of the past three seasons in Minnesota, but he was always a long shot to make the Panthers' Week 1 roster. He's appeared in 14 regular-season games, playing primarily on special teams.
