Panthers' Brendan Mahon: Injures calf

Mahon was unable to return to Friday's preseason game against the Dolphins due to a calf injury, Panthers insider Joe Person reports.

Mahon is battling for a depth role at left guard throughout the preseason, so any injury that will keep him sidelined for more than a couple of practices could be detrimental to his chance of making the 53-man roster.
