Panthers' Daviyon Nixon: Back from COVID list, still on IR

Nixon (knee) was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday and reverted to injured reserve, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.

The defensive tackle tested positive for COVID-19 on Dec. 28, forcing him to be away from the team for over a week. Nixon was moved back to IR on Thursday, allowing him to continue rehabbing his knee injury that ended his 2021 season.
