Patriots' Chad Muma: Signs with New England

The Patriots signed Muma to the active roster Tuesday.

Muma was signed off the Colts' practice squad. The linebacker played in five games for the team, logging five tackles, including three solo tackles, over the 32 defensive snaps he saw the field. The signing will stabilize the depth in the Patriots' linebacker room caused by the absence of Robert Spillane (foot).
