Rams' Joe Noteboom: Placed on IR

The Rams placed Noteboom (calf) on injured reserve Wednesday, Kevin Modesti of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

With the new rules going into effect this season, Noteboom will now have to miss a minimum of three games on IR. The injury occurred in the second half of Sunday's win against the Eagles and appears to be somewhat serious. David Edwards is expected to handle depth guard duties on the offensive line as long as Noteboom is sidelined.
