Haskins will likely serve as the Steelers' No. 3 quarterback heading into offseason activities after the team agreed to terms with Mitchell Trubisky on Monday, Joe Rutter of TribLive.com reports.
The Steelers tendered a contract to Haskins during the offseason, and he was expected to compete with Mason Rudolph for the starting job under center ahead of the 2022 campaign. However, the 2019 first-round pick is likely in line to serve as the team's No. 3 quarterback for a third consecutive year. Haskins didn't appear in any games last year during his first full season in Pittsburgh.
