Steelers' Dwayne Haskins: Tops 100 yards in preseason start

Haskins completed nine of 16 passes for 108 yards, a touchdown and an interception while also rushing three times for six yards in Friday's 34-9 preseason loss to the Panthers.
Haskins drew the start Friday since Ben Roethlisberger and Mason Rudolph were held out of the game, and he played the entire first half. The 24-year-old also saw additional playing time late in the contest after Joshua Dobbs suffered a toe injury. However, he failed to generate much offensive production while playing 62 percent of the snaps. Following the game, coach Mike Tomlin said, "It wasn't the performance he wanted or we wanted." Rudolph appears to have secured the job as the Steelers' No. 2 quarterback, while Haskins may be on the roster bubble ahead of the team's Week 1 matchup against Buffalo following inconsistent play during the preseason.
