Troy Pride: Let go Monday

Pride (knee) was waived with a failed physical designation Monday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

Pride was selected in the fourth round of the 2020 draft by Carolina, but he missed all of last season after suffering a torn ACL in a preseason contest. He'll now focus on getting healthy so he can earn a chance to compete in the NFL again.
