Tyreke Smith: Waived by Seahawks

Smith was waived by the Seahawks on Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official website reports.

Smith will now be available to be claimed by another team and if not, he'll likely return to Seattle's practice squad. The linebacker made his NFL debut in Week 2, recording a tackle while playing 14 combined snaps between the defense and special teams.
