Ventell Bryant: Let go by Carolina

Bryant (suspension) was waived by the Panthers on Thursday, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.

Bryant signed a future deal in January after finishing 2020 on Carolina's practice squad, but he was never likely to make the season-opening roster after picking up a two-game suspension over the summer for substance abuse. The 24-year-old last saw game action in 2019 with the Cowboys and caught a 15-yard touchdown in 12 contests.
