Vikings' Elijah Williams: Won't play Week 1

Williams (hamstring) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Bears.

Williams joined the Vikings as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 NFL Draft. He impressively made the initial roster but will be sidelined for at least the first week of his rookie campaign. Williams will likely draw very few defensive snaps upon his return.
