Will Parks: Gets cut loose

Parks was released by the Jets on Thursday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Parks played 14 games for the Jets last season, accumulating 17 tackles (10 solo). The veteran safety mostly filled a depth role in the secondary, while contributing regularly on special teams in his seventh season in the league. He'll now be looking for a new opportunity elsewhere.
