  • Tyler Baron DE | NYJ

Jets' Tyler Baron: Done for the year

The Jets placed Baron (knee) on injured reserve Wednesday, Susanna Welr of the team's official site reports.

Baron suffered a knee injury during the first quarter of New York's loss to the Dolphins in Week 14 and will miss the remainder of the season as a result. Across six regular-season appearances, the rookie fifth-round pick racked up nine tackles (five solo), including one tackle for a loss.

  • Lions' Christian Mahogany: Limited in return to practice

The Lions have designated Mahogany (leg) for return from IR and he was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

Mahogany suffered a left leg injury that forced him to be carted off the field early November, but it appears he's now nearing a return to the field. He'll likely need to resume practicing in full before being added back to the 53-man roster, however, so Mahogany's availability for Sunday's game against the Rams remains uncertain. Once fully healthy, he'll likely resume operating as Detroit's starting left guard.

  • Tyler Guyton OT | DAL

Cowboys' Tyler Guyton: Unable to practice Wednesday

Guyton (ankle) did not practice Wednesday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

Guyton has already missed two consecutive games due to a lingering ankle injury, and his status remains uncertain for Sunday's contest against the Vikings. The starting left tackle will have two more opportunities to practice before the Cowboys decide his initial injury designation for Week 15.

  • Ben Powers G | DEN

Broncos' Ben Powers: Practice window opens

The Broncos designated Powers (biceps) for return from IR on Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.

Powers now has a 21-day practice window where he won't count against the 53-man roster, and if healthy enough to come off IR immediately, he could play as early as Sunday versus the Packers. Expect Powers to return to a starting role at left guard once he's fully cleared.

  • Texans' Dare Ogunbowale: Awaits word on injured teammates

Ogunbowale could be Houston's lead back Week 15 as both Woody Marks (knee) and Nick Chubb (ribs) were non participants at Wednesday's practice.

During Sunday's 20-10 win over Kansas City, when Chubb was ruled out early and Marks was forced off the field for one play, Ogunbowale made the most of his one snap, rushing for a five-yard touchdown. He could receive a greater volume of snaps this week against Arizona pending the health situation of the injured backs. Ogunbowale has never been a big factor as a runner; he has just four carries in 13 games this season and never had more than 42 in any of his four seasons with the Texans.

  • Trey Smith G | KC

Chiefs' Trey Smith: Returns to practice

Smith (ankle) logged a full practice Wednesday.

Smith has missed each of Kansas City's last two games with the ankle injury, leaving a significant hole along the interior of the offensive line. His participation suggests he'll return in Week 15 against the Chargers.

  • Raiders' Kolton Miller: Returns to practice

Miller (ankle) was designated to return to practice Wednesday.

Miller has been sidelined since late September due to a hairline fracture in his ankle. It's unclear if he'll have enough time to ramp up for a Week 15 matchup against the Eagles.

  • 49ers' Kurtis Rourke: Logs full practice

Rourke (knee) practiced in full Wednesday.

Rourke has been sidelined for his entire rookie season after undergoing surgery to repair his knee Jan. 8. He was originally expected back for training camp, though his recovery has clearly taken significantly longer. Rourke was designated to return Monday, so it's unclear if he'll be activated for a Week 15 matchup against the Titans.

  • 49ers' Sam Okuayinonu: Sidelined to begin week

Okuayinonu (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.

Okuayinonu suffered a serious ankle injury in Week 12 and was expected to miss multiple games. Even with the 49ers' bye week benefiting him with additional time to rest, Okuayinonu appears unlikely to suit up in Week 15 against Tennessee.

  • 49ers' Kyle Juszczyk: Limited by rib injury

Juszczyk (ribs) logged a limited practice Wednesday.

Juszczyk suffered a fractured rib ahead of the 49ers' bye week. That gave him the chance to rest and the opportunity to suit up for the 49ers' Week 15 matchup against the Titans.
