Alexander Nylander: Inks AHL deal

Nylander signed a one-year contract with the AHL Toronto Marlies on Sunday, Lance Hornby of The Toronto Sun reports.

Nylander tallied 11 goals and 15 points in 23 games following a midseason trade to the Blue Jackets last season. The 26-year-old winger ultimately had to settle for an AHL contract, as he'll look to work his way back to an NHL roster.
