Avalanche's Dennis Gilbert: Out 4-6 weeks

Gilbert (face) is set to miss 4-6 weeks after undergoing facial surgery, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.

Gilbert -- who was injured in a fight against Keegan Kolesar on Feb. 16 -- will now be on the shelf until late March, at the earliest. Even when healthy, Gilbert is a fringe roster player and figures to offer low-end fantasy value at best.
