Blackhawks' Brett Seney: Sidelined versus Wings

Every second Seney is on the shelf due to his undisclosed injury decreases his odds of earning an NHL deal ahead of Opening Night. At this point, even if the 29-year-old winger's ailment isn't a long-term problem, he may have to settle for playing with AHL Rockford on his minor-league deal this year.
