Blue Jackets' Ivan Fedotov: Starting in goal Tuesday

Fedotov will protect the road net versus the Sabres in Tuesday's preseason game, Heather Engel of NHL.com reports.

Fedotov will make his second appearance of the preseason after allowing one goal on 15 shots in his first outing. He's competing for the backup role in Columbus this year after being traded from Philadelphia just before training camp.
