Bruins' John Beecher: Hits waivers

Beecher (upper body) was put on waivers Monday, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

After missing the last four games due to injury, Beecher will report to AHL Providence if he clears waivers to resume playing. He has earned one goal, six shots on net, four blocked shots and seven hits in six appearances with Boston this season.
