Gignac signed a two-year, two-way contract with Montreal on Sunday.
Gignac has produced 14 goals and 42 points in 43 contests for AHL Laval this season. The 26-year-old forward has only one game of NHL experience, which came as a member of the Devils during the 2018-19 campaign.
