Canadiens' Frederic Allard: Emergency recall from AHL

Allard was recalled on an emergency basis from AHL Laval on Saturday.

Allard was acquired from the Kings in a minor-league trade Friday. The 25-year-old will be available for Sunday's game versus the Golden Knights, though he's likely up with the big club as injury insurance since it's unclear if Justin Barron (upper body) will be able to suit up.
