Allard was brought up from the minors Tuesday under emergency conditions.
Allard's elevation to the NHL roster could be an indication that Jordan Harris (lower body) won't be available versus the Islanders on Wednesday, though that hasn't been officially confirmed. In his only NHL game this year, the blueliner registered two shots in just 11:31 of ice time and shouldn't be expected to see significantly more minutes even if he does play Wednesday.
