Canadiens' Patrik Laine: Won't play Monday

Laine (lower body) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Sabres, Stu Cowan of The Montreal Gazette reports.

Laine continues to deal with a lower-body injury, and he'll remain sidelined for a second consecutive matchup Monday. Owen Beck will remain in the lineup against Buffalo, while Laine's next chance to return will be Wednesday in Calgary.
