Canucks' Cole McWard: Sent to AHL

McWard was assigned to AHL Abbotsford on Friday.

McWard was called up by the Canucks on Thursday, but he didn't appear in any games and will head back to the minors a day later. Even if he rejoins Vancouver at some point later this year, it seems unlikely that he'll play a significant role.
