Canucks' Micheal Ferland: Moves to LTIR

Ferland (head) was placed on long-term injured reserve Monday, Thomas Drance of The Athletic Vancouver reports.

Ferland's NHL career is likely over and this is just a paper move for Vancouver to work with its cap space. The 29-year-old forward hasn't appeared in a game since the 2019-20 campaign.
