Ovechkin scored twice on three shots in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Flames.

Ovechkin provided the Capitals' first game-tying goal in the second period. He also added an empty-netter in the third that stood as the game-winner after the Flames got one back. With the pair of goals, Ovechkin has 766 in his career, tying Jaromir Jagr for third place on the all-time list. With seven tallies in his last eight outings, it's safe to say the Great Eight is heating up again after a six-game goal drought around the All-Star break. The 36-year-old has 36 tallies, 70 points, 245 shots on net, 101 hits and a plus-8 rating through 56 contests overall.
