Vanecek has conceded three or more goals in four of his last five contests but still posted a 4-1-0 record over that stretch. In 32 appearances this season, the 26-year-old netminder is 16-8-5 with three shutouts and a .918 save percentage. The Czech appears to have cemented himself as the preferred option in the crease yet will have to maintain his form to stave off challenges from Ilya Samsonov.
