Lyubushkin recorded a shorthanded assist and two hits in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Rangers.

Lyubushkin had the secondary helper on Loui Eriksson's first-period tally. The 27-year-old Lyubushkin now has a career-high five assists in just 28 games this season. He's added 57 hits, 36 blocked shots, 19 shots on net and 12 PIM. The Russian remains a physical presence on the third pairing, though he's averaging a career-best 18:03 of ice time per game in his fourth NHL campaign.
