Egor Sokolov: Heads to Russia

Sokolov signed a one-year contract with CSKA Moscow of the KHL on Tuesday, per Derek O'Brien of The Hockey News.

Sokolov didn't see any NHL time in 2024-25, the second year in a row he's been limited to AHL duties. He has two points over 13 games in the NHL. Sokolov may choose to continue the rest of his career in his native Russia.
