Flames' Nikita Zadorov: Snaps drought with helper

Zadorov posted an assist, three shots on goal and three hits in Thursday's 6-4 win over the Kraken.

Zadorov set up Johnny Gaudreau's first-period tally. The 26-year-old Zadorov also got loose on a shorthanded breakaway late in the first, but he couldn't convert. The defenseman is more of a physical presence, as his helper Thursday was his first point since Nov. 18. The Russian has five points, 48 hits, 30 shots on net, 12 PIM and a plus-2 rating in 22 contests.
