Flyers' Cal Petersen: Assigned to AHL

The Flyers assigned Petersen to AHL Lehigh Valley on Friday.

Petersen was placed on waivers by the Flyers on Wednesday, and he'll officially head to the minors ahead of the regular season. He made 28 regular-season appearances for Philadelphia last year and posted a 2-2-0 record, 3.90 GAA and .864 save percentage.
